In February 2023, AHOP technical partners – WHO Regional Office for Africa and the London School of Economics (LSE) – visited the AHOP Senegal National Centre at Institut Pastuer Dakar.

AHOP partners and members of the national centre met to discuss the production of the Country Health Systems and Services Profile (CHSSP). County Profiles provide detailed reviews of a country’s health system, performance and policy initiatives.

Authors and editors of the Senegal Country Profile updated partners on the progress of the developments of the profile and provided valuable feedback on lessons-learned from the writing process.

AHOP partners also had the opportunity to meet representatives from Ministère de la Santé et de L’Action Sociale (Ministry of Health).
