University of Rwanda - School of Public Health - Rwanda

The School of Public Health (SPH) is part of the College of Medicine and Health at the University of Rwanda. Established a few years after the genocide, the SPH mission included capacity building of Rwandan health professionals needed to support the rebuilding of the country’s health system. SPH has long-standing research expertise, and through its various projects and postgraduate programs, has contributed significantly to African institutional capacity building in health systems. SPH has a proven record of high-quality analysis and research outputs as demonstrated by publications in reputable peer reviewed journals that are used by the Rwandan health sector to make evidence-based health policies and decisions.
